Maria Langarita graduated in architecture from the Universidad de Navarra and she is a lecturer in Architectural Projects at ETSA Madrid. Together with Victor Navarro, she founded the Madrid-based practice Langarita-Navarro in 2005.
Their work has been recognized with the Special Mention of the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2013 as well as the award of the XII Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, the FAD 2012 award, the AR+D Award for Emerging Architecture 2012 and the COAM 2013 award. Their career has also been honoured with the Young Architect of the Year 2014 award, and the AD Nuevos Valores 2013 award.
Their work has appeared in various publications and has been chosen for the monograph of 2Gmagazine. Their work has been selected to be exhibited in different places and events, including the XI Biennale di Venezia in 2014 and 2008.
