Of Montenegrin descent, Vladimir was born in Beirut in 1967. He studied at Reading University in England and obtained his Masters in Landscape Architecture from the School of Environmental Design at the University of Georgia, U.S. Following several years of work experience in the U.S., he
returned to Lebanon to establish his practice in 1995.
Vladimir has led the VDLA team since its inception. He has always striven to create projects that are rooted to their context and address the present global challenges. Keeping his office small has allowed him to handle every single project with the attention and care it deserves.
Vladimir travels extensively around the globe. The inspiring experiences lived throughout his voyages make up VDLA’s spirit.
